Dribble. Dribble. Of the 2 United connections from Seattle to London, both were cancelled. David & Steve dropped me off at Seatac, little knowing of the adventures awaiting a Happy Gigster -- like, being driven around the suburbs of Chicago at 02.30 on Saturday morning by a young taxi driver on his second day, who had no idea of what or where, in search of a modest motel to replace the grounded airplane. And even the Saturday flight was nearly grounded, also for security reasons. But, at last, UA938 arrived at Heathrow around 03.50 UK time this morning. Then, a taxi to DGM World Central, some vibrating, collecting my car, and then home through some gorgeous greeny green & windy roads.
